Who I Am

I’m Heather Dolland Tamam, Founder of Doltam Creative Solutions, a certified MWBE consultancy that helps women who feel undervalued or unfulfilled in their careers pivot toward purpose-driven entrepreneurship.

I’m also an author, speaker, and transition coach, and the creator of The Empowerment Blueprint, The Doltam Pivot Program, and Become a Content Creator—three programs designed to meet you exactly where you are on your journey from frustration to freedom.

My work combines mindset transformation with practical strategy so that you don’t just dream about a new chapter—you actually build it.

How It All Began

My story started in architecture school, where I learned how to design strong foundations that could withstand pressure. I didn’t know it then, but those lessons would become the blueprint for everything I do today.

After years in corporate consulting, I reached a point where success no longer felt like fulfillment. I had followed every rule, checked every box, and yet something was missing.

So, I did what many of my clients are learning to do: I listened to that inner voice and decided to create my own table.

That decision changed everything.

The Pivot That Changed My Life

Leaving the security of the corporate world wasn’t easy—but it was necessary. I realized that life doesn’t always go as planned, and that’s exactly where the magic begins.

Through that transition, I learned how to turn uncertainty into opportunity and how to use my experiences as fuel for something bigger.

That journey inspired my first book, Pivot: Because Life Doesn’t Always Go As Planned, and later, Create Your Own Table: A Guide to Discovering Your Purpose.

Both were born from the belief that every challenge carries within it the seed of reinvention.
